The sky this evening. It was raining off to the right (north) but it was still a pretty Sunset.

I shot this image this morning on my way to work in Cashiers, NC. This is near Franklin, NC (Winding Stair Gap).
This looks completely different than it did a couple of days ago now that the trees have a lot more leaves on them.

Landscape Shot - Blairsville GA
It's awesome seeing everything turn green again!
This image started out being a 160mb pixel shift image done with the Pentax K1. I normally don't use this feature in this camera unless the wind isn't blowing and everything is perfectly still...which it was eerily still this evening.

Vintage Lens Comparison-Bokeh

This is a lens comparison between two awesome old lenses that are very similar in age and focal length. Both are just over 50 years old, the Takumar is a few years older than the Sears lens. Both lenses were shot at there widest apeture and both images are shot with the same camera, same exact settings, and same exact processing settings (very little post processing).
Personally, I actually like the bokeh and saturation of the Sears lens the best....
Camera:
Pentax K1 Full Frame 36mp Sensor
Lenses:
1st: Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4 [8 Element Version]
2nd: Auto-Sears 55mm f/1.4 [Re-Branded Rikenon Version]
